Seems like I say this too often, but this feels like the longest week ever. I really can't understand how today is not Friday. Maybe it's because I've been almost but not really sick all week. OK, here's some cool things...

 

*Epic Soundtracks, Rise Above - Everyone saves all their love for NIkki Sudden but, to me, the other half of Swell Maps is the winner. Great piano ballads and pop. Just an awesome record.

 

*Bobby, the manager from Jiffy Lube, who installed a new starter for me last Friday. After getting my car started (with a warning not to turn it off until he put in the new starter) he sent me to his parts guy and, when I got back, put in my new starter while I waited. Off the books. Cheap parts, cheap labor, quick turn around. Saved me at least $150. Go Bobby! Lucky for me my car died in the parking lot next to his shop.

 

*The Longbranch Inn - I went last night and hung out for a while with Hope (and later Cory also). I like empty bars. Even by 11:00 there were less than 10 people there.
