I've been watching the grammys all night. I'm still not sure why. An exercise in self-abuse, I suspect. It was nice seeing the Time get on stage with Brianna, otherwise not so interesting.

In the coming days I'll probably have a real internet connection so I may start putting some pictures up again. The wireless signal I've been piggybacking isn't quite strong enough to manage that.

I've had a nice weekend. We played a show on Friday to a pretty full club and then attended an all-day cookout at Will's yesterday. After a day of eating and drinking, we walked down to the Carousel Lounge to watch our friend Karrie play. I had to call it a night, though, when we got back to the house and a couple of racks of ribs were put on the grill at 1:30am. I just knew I could hang in there any more so I called it a night.

Today was spent reading and watching a movie in bed, followed by sitting on the couch futzing about on the computer and watching the previously mentioned grammy awards. Woo!

ps. Right now Herbie Hancock and a nameless asian piano prodigy are tearing up Rhapsody in Blue. That's kinda cool. Real music on the grammys - who'd of thunk.
