Somewhere in the middle of watching the new Hellboy* movie on Saturday afternoon, I developed a sore throat. It started as a tickle and by the end of the movie it was scratchy and inflamed. Fun! As of today, it hasn't got any worse, thank you jeebus. My theory is that a combination of allergies and smoking a bummed cigarette on Friday night caused it.

 

In other news, I was asked to write a brief little blurb for the Austin Chronicle for their "Sci-Fi" issue. It seems my contribution didn't make the cut for the paper but it did end up seeing the light of day on their music blog. Here's a LINK.
